BLS For Healthcare Providers

Course Information

  • This is an American Heart Association CPR and AED course for Healthcare Providers. Examples of Healthcare providers are Nurses, EMT’s, CNA’s, Medical Assistants, Dental Assistants/Hygienist, & more.

  • This is an IN PERSON class that is taught by an experienced instructor.

  • In the course we cover how to provide high quality CPR and how to use an AED for Adults, children, and infants. These topics are covered both in a healthcare setting and in a non-healthcare setting.

  • The class is typically 2 to 3 hours in length and the Cost is $50 per certification.

  • After completion of the class, you will receive a 2-year American Heart Association certification to your Email.

  • Location: We are located at 1094 Cudahy Place, San Diego, 92110, SUITE #218

  • If you are NOT a healthcare Provider, take the First Aid, CPR, & AED Class

  • YES!! This is An American Heart Association course, and you will receive your 2-year AHA certification at the end of the class.

  • Our address is 1094 Cudahy Place, San Diego, 92110. We are in suite #218.

    Our office is in Mission Bay, just about 5-10 minutes North of downtown San Diego

  • The BLS Class usually takes between 2 to 2.5 hours depending on how many students are in the class, and the previous experience of the students.

  • Our BLS and First Aid, CPR, AED courses are the same format regardless if you’re taking it for the first time, or if you’re renewing your certification.

  • If you can’t find your certification, you can enter your information on the AHA website HERE to find it. 

  • After completing the course, you will receive an American Heart Association certification that is valid for two years.

  • We send out all of our certifications the same day right after you complete the course. You will leave our office with your certification!

  •  No, All of our certification courses are led by an instructor and are completely in person.

  •  Our BLS class costs $50.

  • The BLS class is required for individuals who work in healthcare. So if you work in a hospital, dental office, in the Emergency Medical field, or in any type of healthcare facility.

    Some examples would be:

    -Nurses, EMT's, Paramedics, CNA's, MA's, Dental Hygenists/Assistant, Respiratory Therapists, and all other healthcare occupations.

  • The BLS or Basic Life Support, is a class that is specifically for healthcare providers. So it's for anyone who works in a hospital or in a medical setting.

    The First Aid, CPR, & AED course is a CPR training that is for individuals who do not work in healthcare. So it's for everyone! This class is often required for people who work in schools, as coaches, construction workers, or any other non healthcare jobs.

  • No there is no pre course work for the BLS class. All you need to do is register for the class online, then show up to the class 5-10 minutes early.
