BLS Classroom Courses

  • This is an American Heart Association CPR and AED course for Healthcare Providers. Examples of Healthcare providers are Nurses, EMT’s, CNA’s, Medical Assistants, Dental Assistants/Hygienist, Hospital Staff, & more.

  • This class is for both renewal & first time students.

  • Class is typically 2.5 hours long and is taught by a professional Instructor.

  • Cost: $50

  • Your American Heart Association BLS certification will be sent at the end of the class.

  • Location: We are located in the Business Center of La Mesa 7317 El Cajon Blvd, La Mesa, CA, 91942.

  • Classes are taught in the Seminar Room.

  • Students must register online to reserve their spot.

BLS Provider Fast Track - Online & In-Person Option

  • We also offer a hybrid version of this course, where you can complete all of the videos at home (1.5 hours), then complete a quick 30 minute skills session with an instructor.

  • YES!! This is An American Heart Association course, and you will receive your 2-year AHA certification at the end of the class.

  • The BLS Class usually takes between 2 to 2.5 hours depending on how many students are in the class, and the previous experience of the students.

  • Our BLS and First Aid, CPR, AED courses are the same format regardless if you’re taking it for the first time, or if you’re renewing your certification.

  • If you can’t find your certification, you can enter your information on the AHA website HERE to find it. 

  • After completing the course, you will receive an American Heart Association certification that is valid for two years.

  • We send out all of our certifications the same day right after you complete the course. You will leave our office with your certification!

  • Yes, we offer blended versions of all of our courses, where you can complete the online course, then come into our office for a quick hands on skills session. You can register for this course above.

  •  Our BLS class costs $50.

  • The BLS class is required for individuals who work in healthcare. So if you work in a hospital, dental office, in the Emergency Medical field, or in any type of healthcare facility.

    Some examples would be:

    -Nurses, EMT's, Paramedics, CNA's, MA's, Dental Hygenists/Assistant, Respiratory Therapists, and all other healthcare occupations.

  • The BLS or Basic Life Support, is a class that is specifically for healthcare providers. So it's for anyone who works in a hospital or in a medical setting.

    The First Aid, CPR, & AED course is a CPR training that is for individuals who do not work in healthcare. So it's for everyone! This class is often required for people who work in schools, as coaches, construction workers, or any other non healthcare jobs.

  • No there is no pre course work for the BLS class. All you need to do is register for the class online, then show up to the class 5-10 minutes early.
