Our Beginning

Pacific Coast CPR was founded by Trevor LaCount in 2021. Trevor is an experienced Emergency Medical Technician, and a certified American Heart Association (AHA) CPR instructor with a passion for helping others.

The statistics speak for themselves: 90% of cardiac arrests that happen outside of a hospital setting are fatal, and the survival rate quadruples when a bystander performs CPR.

However, only 30% of people are trained in this life-saving technique. With 475,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occurring in the United States each year, the number of lives that could be saved is staggering. Currently, only 47,500 people survive these events, but if every out-of-hospital cardiac arrest received CPR, the survival rate could increase to 40%, resulting in 190,000 saved lives.

Everyone should know CPR, as it has the potential to make a significant difference in the outcome of a cardiac arrest. By learning this skill, you could potentially save a life and make a positive impact in your community.
